1. Who may use UtsavInvite

You must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to buy from us. The Service is offered from India and is intended for customers in India; prices are shown in Indian Rupees and payments are collected in INR.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a family, business or event planner, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for them.

2. Your account

We do not use passwords. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS. The verified number is your account: orders, drafts, delivery links and re-edit rights are tied to it. Keep your phone and OTP messages secure — anyone with access to them can reach your orders.

You are responsible for entering a mobile number you actually control. We may rate-limit OTP requests, and we may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used for fraud, abuse or repeated policy violations.

3. What you get — licence to the finished video

When you pay for (or claim a free) HD video, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the rendered video file for your own personal, non-commercial purpose: inviting your guests. That includes sending it on WhatsApp and other messaging apps, posting it on your personal social media, and playing it at your event.

You may not:

• resell, sub-licence or distribute the video as a product;
• use it in paid advertising or any commercial campaign without our written permission;
• extract the template artwork, animation, motifs, music or voice output and reuse them outside your video.

All templates, artwork, animations, layouts, fonts (as licensed to us), background music, source code and the UtsavInvite name and marks remain our property or that of our licensors. Buying a video buys the rendered output — not the template.

4. Your content and your warranties

“Your Content” means everything you supply: names, dates, venues, family details, custom lines and any photographs you upload. You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to generate, deliver and support your video.

By submitting Your Content you confirm that:

• you own it or have permission to use it, including permission from the photographer where a photo was professionally shot;
• every identifiable person in an uploaded photo has consented to their face being used in the video and, where applicable, being turned into an AI caricature;
• no person in an uploaded photo is under 18 — we do not accept children's faces;
• the details you enter are accurate; we render exactly what you type, including spelling.

If someone tells us their likeness was used without consent, we act on the report — including taking the video offline while we review. Any person can raise this through Report a concern.

5. No music uploads

You cannot upload your own audio or music. Videos use only the background tracks we provide, which we licence for this purpose. This protects you and us from copyright claims — including automated takedowns on social platforms.

6. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service to create or distribute:

• content that impersonates another person, or that uses a public figure's face or voice without authorisation;
• obscene, sexual, defamatory, hateful or threatening content;
• content involving minors, or any content that sexualises or endangers a child;
• content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
• fraudulent invitations, scams or misleading event details;
• anything unlawful under Indian law, or that violates the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.

We may refuse, remove or take down any video that breaches this clause, without refund, and may report serious cases to law enforcement.

7. AI features and labelling

Some templates use artificial intelligence. Depending on what you choose, your video may include an AI-generated caricature made from your uploaded photo, an AI-synthesised voiceover of the invitation text, or template artwork that was itself AI-generated.

Videos containing synthetically generated visuals or audio carry a visible “AI Generated” label and embedded provenance metadata identifying them as synthetically generated information, in line with the labelling requirements under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. You must not remove, crop out or obscure that label or metadata.

AI output is probabilistic. A caricature may not resemble the subject exactly, and a synthesised voice may mispronounce names — especially regional names. You can preview these before paying, regenerate a caricature a limited number of times, or remove the AI extras from your order. We do not guarantee any specific likeness or pronunciation.

8. Orders, pricing and payment

Prices for each template tier and add-on are published on our Pricing page and shown again in the editor before you pay. All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials. An order becomes payable only after you have seen a free watermarked preview of your own personalised video. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy and delivery by our Delivery Policy.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Rendering runs on third-party cloud infrastructure and can be delayed by load, maintenance or provider outages. Delivery links stay live for 60 days from your last render; after that the video and its source photos are deleted. Download and keep your own copy.

We may change, suspend or discontinue templates, features or add-ons. If we withdraw a template you have already paid for, your existing video and its delivery link are unaffected for the remainder of the 60-day window.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of goodwill, reputation, event opportunity or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Turtle Techsai, its directors, employees and service providers from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights — in particular claims by a person whose photograph, likeness or name you submitted without consent.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the grievance process described in our Privacy Policy and on our Contact page, the courts at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product, our providers or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms; the Terms in force on the date of your order continue to govern that order.
